Man – Man is a sinner, corrupted in his moral nature by evil and inclined to sin. But, also man yearns for an inner peace and God has given him the capacity for faith to the transformation through the redemption of Christ.
Holy Spirit – The Holy Spirit is God living in us. He is a person who is one in nature with the father and the son. He is the agent in regeneration, preservation and sanctification. The Holy Spirit lives in the hearts of Christians, aids them in prayer, interprets truth, and gives power for Christ-like living.
God – We believe there is only one true and living God, who created all things, preserves all things and has within His control all things. To him we owe the highest affection and obedience. God is revealed to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, each with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence or being.
Jesus – Jesus Christ is the eternal, only begotten, Son of God and the savior of the world. He was born of the Virgin Mary and came in the likeness of man. He is the only means of man’s salvation. (John 14:6) In his death, he made atonement for the sin of mankind. He is our propitiation, bringing the saved into fellowship with God. He is the centerpiece for our worship and the church awaits his return.
We are an Independent, Fundamental, Missionary, Baptist Church governed in a manner consistent with the New Testament. We uphold and adhere to the doctrine and instruction left for the New Testament church. We believe Christ is the head of the church and directs the church through the Pastor. We strive to fulfill the great commission left to the church by supporting missionaries around the world and reaching the lost through the church ministry and personal witnessing.
The Bible – We believe the Holy Bible is the inerrant, infallible, and inspired word of God. It is the record of God’s revelation of himself and of his way and will for mankind. It is the final authority of matters spiritually and morally. We only recognize the 1611 King James Bible as the true word of God.
Who We Are
Salvation – We believe that salvation is wholly by the Grace of God. Man cannot merit salvation by works and is only made worthy of Righteousness by faith in Christ. God imputed man’s sin on Christ and imputed Christ’s Righteousness on man. For salvation, one must repent of their sin from the heart and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
Eternal Life – We believe and teach that eternal life is granted as the scriptures teach us. All believers now have eternal life as given by God through faith in his son Jesus. (Rom 1-16)
Baptism and the Lord’s Supper – Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are two ordinances commanded by Christ’s Baptism, which is emersion in water of a believer, celebrates the beginning of the Christian experience as it symbolizes the death, burial and resurrection of Christ. The Lord’s Supper, by use of bread and fruit of the vine, represents the blood and body of Christ and commemorates the love of Christ and his death on the cross.
